The Eimatai Leadership Development Project is the foremost provider of programming motivating Jewish high school student to confront community challenges, empowering students to act, and supporting students to succeed in making positive contributions to their schools and communities.

By opening discussion amongst peers on contemporary issues through presentations by prominent leaders, educators, Roshei Yeshiva, Eimatai seeks to challenge ignorance, and engender broad, communal concern and activism among high school students.

At Eimatai conferences, North American student leaders consider issues, refine talents, gain hands-on experience in programming, and discuss practical plans for implementing new projects to better their schools and the greater Jewish community.

Through Eimatai conferences, ongoing professional mentoring of students, continuing electronic forums, and incubation of select student projects, Eimatai strives to cultivate a community of student leaders who will grow together through critical analysis, leadership skills development, and hands-on involvement in projects of their own design. The fundamental goals of the Eimatai Project are:

* To provide a forum for student leaders to question the world around them and gain a better understanding of the Jewish community.
* To support students in recognizing their personal leadership qualities and discovering skills in becoming more effective leaders.
* To inspire each school to develop and implement a relevant program that they can bring to their school or community.
* To create a network of student leaders where students can exchange ideas and experiences, and create programs to be implemented in their communities.
